Google Pay never appears on cart or checkout.

Several “wallet button missing” bugs look alike. They do not share a fix. This page is only when Google Pay / Google Wallet should render and does not. Apple Pay is shopify-apple-pay-not-showing. Shop Pay accelerated checkout is shopify-shop-pay-wallet-not-showing. Amazon Pay is shopify-amazon-pay-not-showing. PayPal Express is shopify-paypal-express-not-showing. Confirm Shopify Payments is Active and Google Pay is enabled in Settings → Payments. Test only on Chrome (desktop) or an Android / Chrome surface with a card saved in Google Pay / Google Wallet; Safari on iPhone will not prove Google Pay. Soft-check that Payment Request API / third-party cookies are not blocked in a way that kills the wallet sheet.

Check the theme: dynamic checkout buttons / Google Pay blocks on product and cart. Check Markets: country and currency must support Google Pay for that buyer. Soft-check Payment Customization Functions that hide or reorder wallets. Soft-check: if Apple Pay is the missing button, leave for shopify-apple-pay-not-showing. If Shop Pay / Amazon Pay / PayPal / Venmo are missing, use those playbooks instead.

Soft-check when every accelerated wallet is gone: shopify-shop-pay-button-missing. When a Function hides methods: shopify-payment-customization-not-hiding.

Turn Google Pay back on under Shopify Payments if it was toggled off. Restore theme dynamic checkout / Google Pay buttons on product and cart. Adjust or disable Payment Customization that hides Google Pay. Confirm Markets country supports the wallet. Soft-check browser extensions / strict cookie settings that block Payment Request.

If Apple Pay is still missing after Google Pay returns, continue on shopify-apple-pay-not-showing. The only honest test for this page: on Chrome (or Android Chrome) with a Google Wallet card, Google Pay appears on cart or checkout (or you prove Payments / theme / Function why it cannot). Anything else is a different product.
