Shopify shipping profiles / zones showing wrong rates or countries — admin shipping settings.
Written for a Shopify owner or ops lead whose Settings → Shipping and delivery shipping profiles or zones show wrong rates, missing countries, or mismatched destinations. DIY-first: prove which profile covers the product, which zones list which countries, and which rate rows sit on those zones; fix overlapping profiles and zone country lists; stop treating a Delivery Customization Function, order routing location, carrier callback timeout, or Markets Pro duties line as a profile/zone edit. Distinct from delivery customization Function failing, order routing wrong location, carrier service callback timeout, and duties / import taxes missing. Related checkout symptom page: checkout shipping rates wrong. No earnings claims, no invented case studies.

Shipping profiles / zones wrong — not delivery customization, order routing, carrier callback, duties.
Several products can look like “shipping is wrong.” They do not share a settings panel. This page is only when Shopify shipping profiles or zones in Admin Settings → Shipping and delivery show wrong rates or countries. A Delivery Customization Function that renames, hides, or reorders rates at checkout is delivery customization Function failing. Fulfillment / order routing picking the wrong location is order routing wrong location. Carrier-calculated apps that time out or return empty rates are carrier service callback timeout. Markets Pro duties / import taxes / DDP missing is duties and import taxes missing. A checkout-only symptom walk (blank rates at checkout after zones look fine) stays checkout shipping rates wrong. This page is only: admin shipping profiles / zones wrong rates or countries.
Six ordinary reasons profiles/zones look wrong: products sit on a custom profile that does not include the buyer’s country; General profile zones omit a region you sell to; rate rows are price/weight-conditioned so the Admin preview and the cart total disagree; overlapping profiles steal SKUs from the profile you edited; Markets shipping overrides or hides zones; you tested a Delivery Customization Function, order routing, carrier callback, or duties line and called it “zones.” Walk them in that order. You already pay for Shopify Admin. You do not need another SaaS to prove why the zone list is wrong.
02
Prove profile coverage, zone countries/regions, and rate rows in Admin.
Open Settings → Shipping and delivery and pick the shipping profile that covers the product (General vs a custom profile). Expand each zone. Capture: countries / regions listed; rate names and conditions (flat, weight-based, price-based, carrier-calculated); locations / origin that fulfill from this profile. Side-by-side with a test buyer address that should match.
Screenshot Admin zone country list vs the destination you care about. If Delivery Customization is renaming or hiding rates while Admin zones look correct, leave this page and use delivery customization Function failing. If fulfillment lands at the wrong warehouse after rates look fine, open order routing wrong location. If carrier-calculated rates spin or empty, open carrier service callback timeout. If duties / DDP never appear for international Markets, open duties and import taxes missing.
03
Fix overlapping profiles, zone country lists, rate conditions, and Markets shipping.
Align the shipping profile → zone → rate chain: move products onto the profile that should own them; remove or merge overlapping custom profiles; add missing countries/regions to the zone (or create a zone that matches how you sell); fix rate conditions so weight/price/package match real cart totals; confirm Markets shipping is not hiding or replacing the profile for that country. Save. Do not paste a Delivery Customization Function rule into Admin shipping and expect zones to change.
Retest with a logged-out checkout (private window) to the destination country. If Admin zones look correct but checkout rates still blank or wrong, also walk checkout shipping rates wrong. Related label purchase failures in Admin: shipping label purchase failing. Related free-shipping bar UX: free shipping bar missing.
04
Checklist and how to prove zones and rates match the destination.
Checklist: (1) screenshot Admin profile + zone countries vs the buyer destination, (2) confirm the product is on that profile (not a forgotten custom profile), (3) confirm rate rows exist and conditions match cart weight/price, (4) confirm Markets shipping does not override the zone for that country, (5) remove overlapping profiles that steal SKUs, (6) save and retest a new logged-out checkout, (7) if only Delivery Customization, order routing, carrier callback, or duties remain, switch playbooks.
Prove it: Admin zone lists the country; checkout offers the expected rate name/price for that destination; Delivery Customization / routing / carrier / duties stay independent. If Admin is correct but checkout still fails, open checkout shipping rates wrong.
05
You tested delivery customization, order routing, carrier callback, or duties instead.
Delivery Customization Function not renaming/hiding/reordering rates is delivery customization Function failing. Order routing / fulfillment at the wrong location is order routing wrong location. Carrier service / calculated rates timeout is carrier service callback timeout. Duties / import taxes / DDP missing is duties and import taxes missing. Checkout rates blank after Admin looks fine is checkout shipping rates wrong. None of those finish an Admin shipping profile / zone bug where countries or rate rows are wrong in Settings → Shipping and delivery.
Finish prove profile / zone / rates → fix overlaps and country lists → checkout proof first. Only then open the related playbook that matches the remaining symptom.

When to stay DIY vs pay $997.
Stay DIY if you can spend one afternoon on the list above: prove profile coverage and zone countries, fix overlapping profiles and rate conditions, align Markets shipping, and stop treating Delivery Customization / order routing / carrier callback / duties as the same bug. That is the whole playbook. No agency required. Short answers also live on the merchant FAQ. Pay for help when the work is not the zone toggle — it is connecting the stack you already have so lead capture is not dying in DMs, cart / ops exceptions land in a channel you already check, and the live store is one workflow instead of a spreadsheet plus a Slack bot you forgot. That is the Latch AI Ops install.
What $997 USD one-time buys: lead capture on the live store, ops alerts in a channel you already check, and a checkout-ready workflow. 72 hours after collaborator access, not after payment. One live Shopify store. Access plus a delivery thread. Store URL collected at checkout. Not a SaaS seat, not an upsell retainer, not a conversion guarantee, not a brand or theme job.
Other shops’ public ranges, not testimonials: a checkout / ops install typically runs $500–$2,500. A full ops consulting block typically runs $2,000–$5,000. $997 is the cheap end of that work, sold as a 72-hour install of three systems — not as an earnings number or uptime claim.
What it does not buy: more orders, automatic Plus eligibility, a shipping matrix rewrite, or a case study. Latch AI Ops has not published customer proof because there are no customers yet. You are buying the install.
Checkout is on Whop. Operator is Nico. United States offer. You can revoke collaborator access after handoff. We do not take owner passwords.
