Playbook · Shopify B2B company location pricing wrong

Shopify B2B Plus company location pricing wrong — catalog price list shows wrong prices for one location.

Written for a Shopify Plus / B2B owner or ops lead whose one company location shows the wrong catalog price list — retail prices leaking, a stale list, or another location’s catalog — while a different location on the same company shows correct B2B prices. DIY-first: prove which company location the buyer contact is actively shopping as; compare that location’s assigned catalogs / price lists to a working location; republish or reassign the expected list; stop treating catalog-wide B2B pricing bugs, wholesale payment terms (Net 30 / due dates), draft order invoice silence, or quantity-break / volume tier UI as the same location-level price list bug. Distinct from B2B catalog prices wrong, draft order invoice not sending, quantity breaks not showing, and B2B catalog / products not showing. No earnings claims, no invented case studies.

01

Company location price list wrong — not catalog-wide B2B prices, payment terms, draft invoice, or quantity breaks.

Several B2B products can look like “our wholesale prices are wrong.” They do not share a fix. This page is only when a specific company location shows the wrong catalog / price list — retail leaking, stale list, or another location’s assignment — while at least one other location on the same company shows correct B2B prices for the same SKUs. Catalog-wide wrong prices for every location / every contact is B2B catalog prices wrong. Blank catalog / products missing for B2B buyers is B2B catalog not showing. Wholesale payment terms (Net 30, due dates, payment method labels) are not a price-list display bug — do not rewrite Net terms to “fix” a wrong unit price. Draft order invoice email / payment link silence is draft order invoice not sending. Volume / quantity-break / BXGY tier UI missing on PDP or cart is quantity breaks not showing.

Company location pricing wrong is a location-level catalog / price list assignment problem — not a catalog-wide product price edit, not payment terms, not a draft invoice, and not a quantity-break widget.

02

Prove buyer active location, location catalog / price list assignment, and working vs failing location.

Open Customers → Companies → the company → Locations. Capture screenshots of: the failing location’s assigned catalogs / price lists; a working location’s assignments on the same company; the logged-in buyer contact’s company + active location (location switcher / company location context); PDP and cart unit prices while that contact is on the failing location vs after switching to the working location; whether retail compare-at or Online Store price is leaking; whether the price list itself has the expected fixed / percentage prices for those variants.

Split the surfaces. Location A correct, Location B wrong for the same SKUs → this page (location assignment / active location). Every location wrong the same way → B2B catalog prices wrong. Products missing / blank catalog → B2B catalog not showing. Prices look right but invoice email never arrives → draft order invoice not sending. Tier UI never renders → quantity breaks not showing.

Note contact context carefully. A contact attached to Location B but still shopping as Location A (or as a retail customer account) will show the wrong list even when Location B’s assignment is correct. Confirm the storefront / customer account location switcher matches the location you edited in admin.

03

Fix location catalog assignment, republish price list, retest as that location’s contact.

On the failing location: assign the expected catalog / price list, remove stale or unintended catalogs that fall back to retail, and confirm the contact is on that location (not another location and not a retail-only customer). Open the catalog → products / variants and confirm fixed or percentage prices match what B2B should see. If you edited prices recently, republish / save the list and wait for storefront cache to clear.

Multi-location companies: copy the working location’s catalog assignment pattern deliberately — do not assume company-level catalogs automatically attach to every new location. New locations often ship with no catalog or the wrong default. Theme / Hydrogen: confirm the price block reads catalog context for the active company location, not only the first catalog on the company.

Retest: log in as a contact on the failing location → PDP and cart show the expected B2B unit prices → checkout summary matches → optionally switch to the working location and confirm both stay correct. Then only if every location is still wrong the same way, move to B2B catalog prices wrong.

Checklist and how to prove the company location shows the correct price list.

  • Buyer contact is on the intended company location (location switcher), not retail and not a sibling location.
  • Failing location has the expected catalog / price list assigned; stale or empty assignments removed.
  • Working location on the same company still shows correct prices for the same SKUs (proves location-level, not catalog-wide).
  • Catalog product/variant fixed or percentage prices match the intended B2B amounts; list saved / republished after edits.
  • Theme / Hydrogen price block uses company location catalog context (not only Online Store retail price).
  • Retest: failing-location contact → PDP/cart/checkout match the list; switch location and confirm both stay correct.

Proof is before/after unit prices for the same SKU on two locations of the same company — not a payment-terms change, not a draft invoice send, and not a quantity-break widget.

05

You tested catalog-wide B2B prices, wholesale payment terms, draft invoice, or quantity breaks instead.

Common misfires: B2B catalog prices wrong (every location / catalog-wide list), B2B catalog not showing (products blank), wholesale payment terms edits (Net 30 / due dates — not unit price), draft order invoice not sending, quantity breaks not showing, and compare-at price not showing. Fix the failing location’s catalog / price list assignment here first.

When to stay DIY vs pay $997.

Stay DIY when the wrong location price is a one-time assignment fix you can clear from this checklist — active location, catalog on that location, republished list. Pay when the work is connecting the stack you already have so lead capture is not dying in DMs, B2B location / pricing exceptions land in a channel you already check, and the live store is one workflow instead of a spreadsheet plus a Slack bot you forgot. That is the Latch AI Ops install.

What $997 USD one-time buys: lead capture on the live store, ops alerts in a channel you already check, and a checkout-ready workflow. 72 hours after collaborator access, not after payment. One live Shopify store. Access plus a delivery thread. Store URL collected at checkout. Not a SaaS seat, not an upsell retainer, not a conversion guarantee, not a brand or theme job.

Other shops’ public ranges, not testimonials: a checkout / ops install typically runs $500–$2,500. A full ops consulting block typically runs $2,000–$5,000. $997 is the cheap end of that work, sold as a 72-hour install of three systems — not as an earnings number or uptime claim.

What it does not buy: more orders, automatic Plus eligibility, a custom B2B pricing SaaS, or a case study. Latch AI Ops has not published customer proof because there are no customers yet. You are buying the install.

Checkout is on Whop. Operator is Nico. United States offer. You can revoke collaborator access after handoff. We do not take owner passwords.
