Playbook · B2B / Plus company catalog prices wrong
Shopify B2B catalog prices wrong for a logged-in company location.
Written for a Shopify B2B / Plus owner whose logged-in company location sees the wrong catalog price (retail instead of B2B, wrong catalog, wrong quantity-rule tier) or catalog price missing while products still appear — usually the wrong catalog on that location, quantity rules / payment terms mismatch, buyer contact on the wrong location, or a theme price block that ignores B2B context. DIY-first: prove location → catalog → price list → quantity rules → payment terms, retest as that contact. Distinct from B2B catalog / products not showing (blank), quantity breaks / volume discounts, unit price not showing, compare-at / strikethrough missing, and customer accounts login broken. No earnings claims, no invented case studies.

01
B2B catalog prices wrong — not blank catalog, quantity breaks, unit price, compare-at, customer accounts login.
Several products can look like “B2B prices are broken.” They do not share a settings panel. This page is only when a logged-in company location sees the wrong price or catalog price missing while products still render. Products / catalog never appear at all is b2b-catalog-not-showing. Volume discount / Buy X Get Y UI missing is quantity breaks not showing. Price-per-unit label missing is unit price not showing. Strikethrough / sale badge missing is compare-at price not showing. Cannot log in / redirect loop is customer accounts login broken. This page is only: B2B / Plus company catalog prices wrong or not showing for a logged-in company location (catalogs, payment terms, quantity rules).
Six ordinary reasons catalog prices are wrong: the company location has the wrong catalog (or none) assigned, fixed / percentage prices on the catalog product list do not match what sales promised, quantity rules (min / increment) make the buyer land on a different effective unit price than expected, payment terms on the location change what checkout shows vs PDP, the buyer contact is attached to a different location or a retail customer account, or the theme / Hydrogen price block reads retail variant price instead of catalog context. Walk them in that order. You already pay for Shopify B2B / Plus catalogs. You do not need another seat to reassign a catalog.
02
Prove company location catalog assignment + buyer contact context.
Customers → Companies → open the company → Locations → open the location the buyer uses → Catalogs. Confirm the expected catalog is assigned to that location (not only to a sibling location). Open the buyer contact → confirm Company + Location match. A retail customer account or a contact on Location A while you edited Location B is the usual false fail.
Honest proof: if products appear but prices are retail / wrong tier, stay on this page. If products and prices never appear for logged-in B2B buyers, leave for b2b-catalog-not-showing. If the buyer cannot log in at all, leave for customer accounts login broken. Do not mix those proofs.
03
Catalog price list, quantity rules, and payment terms on the location.
Open Products → Catalogs (or Settings → B2B catalogs) → the catalog on that location. Check each variant’s fixed price or percentage adjustment. Then open Quantity rules on the catalog / products: minimum, increment, and maximum change which unit price buyers effectively see when they add the allowed qty. Separately: company location → Payment terms. Net terms / deposit rules can make checkout totals look “wrong” vs the PDP catalog price even when the catalog list is correct — prove PDP catalog price and checkout line separately.
Fix: correct the catalog price list for the SKUs buyers quote. Align quantity rules with how sales quotes (min 6 / increment 6 vs buyers adding 1). Confirm payment terms on that location match the agreement. Retest logged-in as the buyer contact on that location in Incognito. This is not DTC quantity-break apps / Buy X Get Y — that product is quantity breaks not showing. Not selling-plan / subscription widgets (selling plan not showing).
04
Theme / Hydrogen price blocks ignoring B2B catalog context.
Some Online Store themes and Hydrogen storefronts hard-code variant.price / compare_at_price in Liquid or Storefront API queries and never read the contextual B2B catalog price for the logged-in company location. Admin catalog assignment can be perfect while PDP still shows retail. Cart / checkout may still charge the catalog price (or the reverse), which buyers report as “prices wrong.”
Fix: in a B2B-ready theme, confirm price blocks use contextual / catalog-aware pricing (or Shopify’s B2B price components). On Hydrogen, confirm Storefront API buyer identity / company location context is passed and price queries use contextual pricing. Briefly test Dawn / a B2B reference theme on a duplicate preview to prove catalog vs theme. If the whole Hydrogen surface is blank / deploy-broken, that is hydrogen-storefront-blank-or-error. Unit-price and compare-at display bugs are separate (unit price, compare-at).
05
You tested blank catalog, quantity breaks, unit price, compare-at, or login instead.
Blank B2B catalog / products not showing is b2b-catalog-not-showing. Quantity breaks / volume discount UI missing is quantity breaks not showing. Unit price label missing is unit price not showing. Compare-at / strikethrough missing is compare-at price not showing. Login / redirect loop is customer accounts login broken.
The only honest test for this page: logged-in company location sees wrong catalog price (or catalog price missing while products still show) — prove location catalog assignment, buyer contact context, catalog price list + quantity rules + payment terms, theme / Hydrogen contextual pricing, hard-refresh as that contact. Anything else is a different product.

When to stay DIY vs pay $997.
Stay DIY if you can spend one afternoon on the list above: prove company location catalog assignment, fix catalog price list / quantity rules / payment terms, confirm buyer contact context, prove theme contextual pricing, and stop confusing blank catalog / quantity breaks / unit price / compare-at / login with wrong B2B catalog prices. That is the whole playbook. No agency required. Short answers also live on the merchant FAQ. Related pages: b2b-catalog-not-showing, quantity breaks, unit price, compare-at, customer accounts login.
Pay for help when the work is not the catalog price row — it is connecting the stack you already have so lead capture is not dying in DMs, storefront and checkout-ready exceptions land in a channel you already check, and the live store is one workflow instead of a spreadsheet plus a Slack bot you forgot. That is the Latch AI Ops install.
What $997 USD one-time buys: lead capture on the live store, ops alerts in a channel you already check, and a checkout-ready workflow. 72 hours after collaborator access, not after payment. One live Shopify store. Access plus a delivery thread. Store URL collected at checkout. Not a SaaS seat, not a theme rebuild retainer, not a conversion guarantee, not a brand or theme job.
Other shops’ public ranges, not testimonials: a checkout / ops install typically runs $500–$2,500. A full ops consulting block typically runs $2,000–$5,000. $997 is the cheap end of that work, sold as a 72-hour install of three systems — not as an earnings number or conversion-lift claim.
What it does not buy: more orders, recovered revenue, a forever B2B-pricing-proof guarantee, or a case study. Latch AI Ops has not published customer proof because there are no customers yet. You are buying the install.
Checkout is on Whop. Operator is Nico. United States offer. You can revoke collaborator access after handoff. We do not take owner passwords.
