Local .env does not ship with the deploy.

Honest proof: regenerate a Storefront API token under Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps / Headless if the old one was rotated, paste it into the Oxygen environment that matches production (not only preview), save, and note the environment name on the deploy you are about to ship. Open Oxygen deploy history for the storefront. Failed builds, missing bindings, Node / package errors, and wrong environment selection show up here — not in Theme editor. Fix the logged error on a clean commit, redeploy to the environment that owns the live hostname, and wait until the deploy shows successful before testing the URL again.

Honest proof: screenshot the failed log line, the env var list for that environment, and the successful deploy ID after the fix.
