Playbook · Shopify size chart table blank

The size chart opens. The table is empty.

Written for a Shopify owner whose size chart table is blank — measurement matrix mounts or opens but rows / cells are empty — or you chased size guide not opening, chart never showing, or a dedicated popup instead. DIY-first: prove table DOM / metafield / metaobject / theme block / CSS / app → fill data → retest. Distinct from size guide not opening and size chart not showing. Soft-link size chart popup not opening when the intended UI is a dedicated modal. Soft-link product tabs blank when other panels are also empty. No earnings claims, no invented case studies.

Size chart table blank — not guide not opening, not chart missing.

Several “size chart / fit guide” bugs look alike. They do not share a fix. This page is only when the size chart table / measurement matrix mounts or opens but the table body is blank — empty rows, empty cells, or unbound data. Size guide accordion / details / drawer stuck closed is still shopify-size-guide-not-opening. Chart never rendered at all is shopify-size-chart-not-showing.

Soft-check size-chart-popup-not-opening when a dedicated fit-guide popup is the leftover gap, and soft-link shopify-product-tabs-blank when Description / Shipping / Care tabs also mount empty — not when the size chart table itself is blank.

02

Prove table DOM vs metafield / metaobject vs theme block vs CSS vs app.

On Current theme (not a draft), open a PDP that should show a filled size chart (incognito). Soft-check the table / matrix shell is in the DOM after open (not display:none). Soft-check product metafields used for size chart HTML or structured measurements (often product.metafields.custom.size_chart or a metaobject reference). Soft-check theme block dynamic source points at that field. Soft-check CSS not zero-height / overflow-hidden / color-matching cells. Soft-check size-chart App embeds. Soft-check Network for metafield / metaobject queries returning empty. Soft-check mobile vs desktop. Soft-check you did not test guide-not-opening, chart-never- showing, or dedicated-popup instead.

Capture: product handle, screenshot of blank table vs Admin metafield contents, theme block settings, App embeds toggle, and mobile/desktop settings on Current.

03

Fill metafield / metaobject data, bind theme block, clear CSS/app fights; retest.

On Current, fill the size-chart metafield or metaobject with real measurement rows (not placeholder / empty rich text). Soft-check the theme size-chart / table block dynamic source. Soft-check App embeds for size-chart apps after content save. Soft-check CSS not hiding tbody / td while an empty shell remains. Soft-check mobile/desktop. Publish Current, hard-refresh desktop and phone.

Honest retest: the table shows filled measurement rows — not only Network 200 without UI. Soft-link shopify-size-guide-not-opening when the control stays closed. Soft-link shopify-size-chart-not-showing when the chart never mounts. Soft-link size-chart-popup-not-opening when the intended UI is a dedicated popup.

04

You tested guide not opening, chart missing, or dedicated popup instead.

Size guide control stuck closed is still shopify-size-guide-not-opening. Chart never rendered at all is shopify-size-chart-not-showing. Dedicated fit-guide popup that never opens is size-chart-popup-not-opening. Product tabs with empty panel body is shopify-product-tabs-blank.

The only honest test for this page: the size chart table shows filled measurement rows for the product — while guide-open / chart-mount / popup paths may still work.

When to stay DIY vs pay $997.

Stay DIY if you can spend one afternoon on the list above: prove table DOM vs metafield / metaobject vs theme block vs CSS vs app, soft-check apps, fill data, retest. That is the whole playbook. No agency required. Short answers also live on the merchant FAQ. Related pages: size guide not opening, size chart not showing, size chart popup not opening.

Pay for help when the work is not the size-chart-table-blank wiring itself — it is connecting the stack you already have so storefront / size-chart-table-blank exception alerts land in a channel you already check, and the live store is one workflow instead of a spreadsheet plus a Slack bot you forgot. That is the Latch AI Ops install.

What $997 USD one-time buys: lead capture on the live store, ops alerts in a channel you already check, and a checkout-ready workflow. 72 hours after collaborator access, not after payment. One live Shopify store. Access plus a delivery thread. Store URL collected at checkout. Not a SaaS seat, not a theme rebuild retainer, not a conversion guarantee, not a brand or theme job.

Other shops' public ranges, not testimonials: a checkout / ops install typically runs $500–$2,500. A full ops consulting block typically runs $2,000–$5,000. $997 is the cheap end of that work, sold as a 72-hour install of three systems — not as an earnings number or conversion-lift claim.

What it does not buy: more orders, recovered revenue, a forever size-chart-table-blank guarantee, or a case study. Latch AI Ops has not published customer proof because there are no customers yet. You are buying the install.

Checkout is on Whop. Operator is Nico. United States offer. You can revoke collaborator access after handoff. We do not take owner passwords.
