Playbook · Shopify store locator blank
Find-a-store loads. The map is empty.
Written for a Shopify owner whose store locator is blank — the Find-a-store URL opens but map canvas / store list / find-a-store UI never render — or you chased Store locator not showing, local pickup / BOPIS missing, or POS inventory not syncing instead. DIY-first: prove template vs section vs embed → repair → retest. Distinct from store locator not showing (widget missing entirely). Soft-link local pickup / BOPIS not showing when BOPIS / pickup availability is the gap. Soft-link POS inventory not syncing when POS vs online stock is the leftover gap. No earnings claims, no invented case studies.

Store locator blank — not locator missing, not local pickup, not multi-location.
Several “store locator” bugs look alike. They do not share a fix. This page is only when the Find-a-store / store locator page or map section mounts empty — empty map canvas, blank store list, or CSS-hidden locator. Locator widget never mounts at all is shopify-store-locator-not-showing.
Soft-check shopify-local-pickup-not-showing when local pickup / BOPIS is missing, multi-location-inventory-wrong when the stock by location is wrong, and soft-link shopify-pos-inventory-not-syncing when POS inventory — not the store locator — is the leftover gap.
02
Prove page template vs locator / map block vs app embed vs CSS hide.
On Current theme (not a draft), open the Store locator page URL in incognito. Confirm the shell loads but map canvas / store list / find-a-store UI are missing or empty. Soft-check page / store-locator JSON template for emptied liquid or removed map markup. Soft-check Customize → page / store-locator templates for a disabled store locator section, map block, or locations list. Soft-check App embeds that inject locator / map UI. Soft-check CSS / overlays that hide the map. Soft-check Markets / password / customer-accounts gates that blank the locator for guests.
Capture: Find-a-store URL screenshot, view-source map markup, theme section list on Current, App embeds toggles, Maps API key / locations settings, and desktop + mobile hard-refresh results.
03
Repair template / locator / map block / embed; retest store locator.
Restore the store-locator page template from the theme default if liquid was emptied. Re-enable the store locator section, map app block, or locations list on Current and Publish. Fix Maps API key and location coordinates. Disable conflicting locator apps one at a time. Remove CSS that sets opacity:0 / display:none on the map. Confirm guest vs logged-in access if password / Markets gate the page. Publish Current, hard-refresh on desktop and phone.
Honest retest: map canvas / store list / find-a-store UI are visible. Soft-link shopify-store-locator-not-showing when the locator widget never mounts at all. Soft-link shopify-local-pickup-not-showing when local pickup / BOPIS is the leftover gap. Soft-link shopify-pos-inventory-not-syncing when POS vs online stock is the leftover gap.

You tested locator missing, local pickup, multi-location stock, or POS sync instead.
Locator widget never mounts at all is shopify-store-locator-not-showing. Local pickup / BOPIS not showing is shopify-local-pickup-not-showing. Multi-location inventory wrong is multi-location-inventory-wrong. POS inventory not syncing is shopify-pos-inventory-not-syncing.
The only honest test for this page: Find-a-store / store-locator URL loads a blank or empty map shell — no usable map canvas / store list — while related missing-widget / pickup / POS flows may still work.

When to stay DIY vs pay $997.
Stay DIY if you can spend one afternoon on the list above: prove template vs section vs embed, soft-check CSS / Markets / accounts, repair, retest. That is the whole playbook. No agency required. Short answers also live on the merchant FAQ. Related pages: store locator not showing, local pickup / BOPIS not showing, POS inventory not syncing.
Pay for help when the work is not the blank locator itself — it is connecting the stack you already have so storefront / locator / locations exceptions land in a channel you already check, and the live store is one workflow instead of a spreadsheet plus a Slack bot you forgot. That is the Latch AI Ops install.
What $997 USD one-time buys: lead capture on the live store, ops alerts in a channel you already check, and a checkout-ready workflow. 72 hours after collaborator access, not after payment. One live Shopify store. Access plus a delivery thread. Store URL collected at checkout. Not a SaaS seat, not a theme rebuild retainer, not a conversion guarantee, not a brand or theme job.
Other shops' public ranges, not testimonials: a checkout / ops install typically runs $500–$2,500. A full ops consulting block typically runs $2,000–$5,000. $997 is the cheap end of that work, sold as a 72-hour install of three systems — not as an earnings number or conversion-lift claim.
What it does not buy: more orders, recovered revenue, a forever locator-map guarantee, or a case study. Latch AI Ops has not published customer proof because there are no customers yet. You are buying the install.
Checkout is on Whop. Operator is Nico. United States offer. You can revoke collaborator access after handoff. We do not take owner passwords.
