Playbook · Shopify store credit not showing
Admin shows credit. The wallet UI does not.
Written for a Shopify owner whose store credit is not showing — customer account wallet blank, checkout store-credit line missing from the UI, or balance card empty — or you chased apply-fails, gift-card balance wrong, or refund-to-store-credit instead. DIY-first: prove account wallet / Admin credit / new customer accounts / Markets / app UI → repair → retest. Distinct from store credit not applying and gift card balance wrong. Soft-link refund to store credit failing when issuing credit after return is the leftover gap. Soft-link loyalty points not applying when rewards points (not store credit) are the leftover gap. No earnings claims, no invented case studies.

01
Store credit not showing — not not-applying, not gift card.
Several “credit / wallet / balance” bugs look alike. They do not share a fix. This page is only when store credit / account credit balance is not showing — wallet blank, checkout credit line missing from the UI, or balance card empty — despite Admin credit on that customer. Credit visible but apply fails at checkout is still shopify-store-credit-not-applying. Gift card balance wrong is shopify-gift-card-balance-wrong.
Soft-check shopify-refund-to-store-credit-failing when issuing credit after return is the leftover gap, and soft-link shopify-loyalty-points-not-applying when rewards points (not native store credit) are the leftover gap — not when the wallet / balance UI itself is blank.
02
Prove account wallet vs Admin credit vs new customer accounts vs Markets vs app UI.
On Current theme (not a draft), open the credited customer account / wallet page and a checkout in that same session (incognito). Soft-check Admin Customers → store credit / account credit on that exact customer record (not a duplicate email). Soft-check new customer accounts vs classic. Soft-check guest vs logged-in. Soft-check Markets currency of the credit vs cart presentment. Soft-check third-party store-credit app blocks / embeds. Soft-check Network for wallet / storeCredit queries returning empty. Soft-check CSS hiding the balance node. Soft-check mobile vs desktop. Soft-check you did not test apply-fails, gift-card balance, or refund-to-credit instead.
Capture: customer ID + email, screenshot of blank wallet vs Admin credit, accounts mode, Markets currency, App embeds toggle, and mobile/desktop settings on Current.
03
Repair wallet UI / accounts mode / Markets / app embed; retest.
On Current, soft-check store-credit / wallet section or app block enabled on customer account and checkout surfaces. Soft-check the shopper is logged into the same identity that holds Admin credit (new customer accounts merge / duplicate customer records are a common miss). Soft-check Markets presentment currency matches credit currency or converter. Soft-check App embeds refresh after credit issue. Soft-check CSS not hiding the balance while an empty shell remains. Soft-check mobile/desktop. Publish Current, hard-refresh desktop and phone.
Honest retest: the balance renders on account and/or checkout — not only Network 200 without UI. Soft-link shopify-store-credit-not-applying when credit shows but apply fails. Soft-link shopify-gift-card-balance-wrong when gift cards are the leftover gap. Soft-link shopify-refund-to-store-credit-failing when issuing credit after return is the leftover gap.

You tested not-applying, gift card balance, or refund-to-credit instead.
Credit visible but apply fails at checkout is still shopify-store-credit-not-applying. Gift card balance wrong is shopify-gift-card-balance-wrong. Refund to store credit failing is shopify-refund-to-store-credit-failing. Loyalty / rewards points not applying is shopify-loyalty-points-not-applying.
The only honest test for this page: the store-credit / wallet balance UI shows the Admin credit amount for the logged-in customer — while apply / gift-card / refund-to-credit paths may still work.

When to stay DIY vs pay $997.
Stay DIY if you can spend one afternoon on the list above: prove account wallet vs Admin credit vs new customer accounts vs Markets vs app UI, soft-check apps, repair, retest. That is the whole playbook. No agency required. Short answers also live on the merchant FAQ. Related pages: store credit not applying, gift card balance wrong, refund to store credit failing.
Pay for help when the work is not the store-credit-not-showing wiring itself — it is connecting the stack you already have so storefront / checkout / store-credit-not-showing exception alerts land in a channel you already check, and the live store is one workflow instead of a spreadsheet plus a Slack bot you forgot. That is the Latch AI Ops install.
What $997 USD one-time buys: lead capture on the live store, ops alerts in a channel you already check, and a checkout-ready workflow. 72 hours after collaborator access, not after payment. One live Shopify store. Access plus a delivery thread. Store URL collected at checkout. Not a SaaS seat, not a theme rebuild retainer, not a conversion guarantee, not a brand or theme job.
Other shops' public ranges, not testimonials: a checkout / ops install typically runs $500–$2,500. A full ops consulting block typically runs $2,000–$5,000. $997 is the cheap end of that work, sold as a 72-hour install of three systems — not as an earnings number or conversion-lift claim.
What it does not buy: more orders, recovered revenue, a forever store-credit-not-showing guarantee, or a case study. Latch AI Ops has not published customer proof because there are no customers yet. You are buying the install.
Checkout is on Whop. Operator is Nico. United States offer. You can revoke collaborator access after handoff. We do not take owner passwords.
