Playbook · Shopify Product JSON-LD missing
PDP loads. Product schema does not.
Written for a Shopify owner whose product page returns 200 for buyers but view-source has zero application/ld+json @type Product — theme head never emits Product schema, an SEO app stripped Product nodes, only Organization / BreadcrumbList / FAQPage left — or you chased GSC rich-snippet eligibility, invalid Offer fields on an existing Product node, blank meta titles, or AggregateRating stars instead. DIY-first: prove view-source → restore Product JSON-LD → retest. Distinct from rich snippets missing (GSC), structured data missing / invalid, meta title / description missing, and AggregateRating / review stars. Soft-link FAQPage schema when only FAQ markup is the gap, and Open Graph image missing when social share is the leftover issue. No earnings claims, no invented case studies.

Product JSON-LD absent — not rich snippets eligibility, not invalid Offer, not meta titles, not AggregateRating.
Several “Google cannot see my product” bugs look alike. They do not share a fix. This page is only when view-source on the live PDP has no @type Product JSON-LD at all — theme product template never writes Product schema, SEO app stripped Product nodes, only Organization / BreadcrumbList / FAQPage remain. GSC Product snippets / Merchant listings eligibility when Product markup already exists is shopify-rich-snippets-missing. Invalid or incomplete Product / Offer fields when a Product node is present is shopify-structured-data-missing. Blank meta titles / descriptions are shopify-meta-title-description-missing. Review stars / AggregateRating is shopify-review-stars-not-in-google.
Soft-check shopify-faq-schema-not-showing when FAQPage is the only missing graph, and shopify-breadcrumb-schema-missing when BreadcrumbList path is the leftover gap after Product returns.
02
Prove view-source has no @type Product; soft-check Rich Results Test and SEO apps.
Open a live product URL. View-source. Search for application/ld+json and "@type":"Product" (and Product inside @graph). Screenshot every JSON-LD block. Run Google Rich Results Test — expect no Product detected when the bug matches this page. Soft-check theme product.json / main-product / theme.liquid for removed schema scripts. Soft-check SEO apps that “manage structured data” and may strip native Product. Soft-check Markets / password / noindex only after Product JSON-LD is proven absent.
If a Product node exists but Offer price / availability / image fail, switch to shopify-structured-data-missing. If Product JSON-LD is present and GSC still shows invalid or eligible-but-not-showing Product snippets, switch to shopify-rich-snippets-missing. If only title / meta description tags are blank, switch to shopify-meta-title-description-missing.
03
Restore Product JSON-LD; stop SEO-app Product strip; retest view-source.
Restore theme Product JSON-LD (Shopify Online Store defaults or one Product + Offer graph with name, image, url, and Offer price / priceCurrency / availability). Disable SEO-app options that replace or strip Product schema. Do not paste three duplicate Product graphs from three apps — one clean Product node beats three fighting ones. Publish the theme, hard-refresh the PDP, and re-check view-source.
Honest retest: view-source shows one clear @type Product with name, image, and Offer. Rich Results Test detects Product. Soft-link shopify-structured-data-missing when Product appears but Offer fields stay invalid. Soft-link shopify-rich-snippets-missing when GSC eligibility is the leftover gap after Product JSON-LD is present.
04
You tested rich snippets eligibility, invalid Offer fields, meta titles, or AggregateRating instead.
GSC Product snippets / Merchant listings eligibility is shopify-rich-snippets-missing. Invalid Product / Offer when a Product node already exists is shopify-structured-data-missing. Meta title / description missing is shopify-meta-title-description-missing. AggregateRating / review stars is shopify-review-stars-not-in-google.
The only honest test for this page: view-source on the live PDP has zero @type Product. Anything else is a different product.

When to stay DIY vs pay $997.
Stay DIY if you can spend one afternoon on the list above: prove view-source, restore Product JSON-LD, stop SEO-app Product strip, retest. That is the whole playbook. No agency required. Short answers also live on the merchant FAQ. Related pages: rich snippets missing, structured data missing, meta title / description missing.
Pay for help when the work is not the schema field itself — it is connecting the stack you already have so schema / indexing / GSC exceptions land in a channel you already check, and the live store is one workflow instead of a spreadsheet plus a Slack bot you forgot. That is the Latch AI Ops install.
What $997 USD one-time buys: lead capture on the live store, ops alerts in a channel you already check, and a checkout-ready workflow. 72 hours after collaborator access, not after payment. One live Shopify store. Access plus a delivery thread. Store URL collected at checkout. Not a SaaS seat, not a theme rebuild retainer, not a ranking guarantee, not a brand or theme job.
Other shops' public ranges, not testimonials: a checkout / ops install typically runs $500–$2,500. A full ops consulting block typically runs $2,000–$5,000. $997 is the cheap end of that work, sold as a 72-hour install of three systems — not as an earnings number or ranking-lift claim.
What it does not buy: more orders, recovered revenue, a forever rich-result guarantee, or a case study. Latch AI Ops has not published customer proof because there are no customers yet. You are buying the install.
Checkout is on Whop. Operator is Nico. United States offer. You can revoke collaborator access after handoff. We do not take owner passwords.
