Playbook · Shopify press logos not loading
The press bar mounts. The logos do not.
Written for a Shopify owner whose press logos are not loading — press / as-seen-in / logo bar chrome is visible, but logos stay blank, broken, or never load — or you chased a blank trust badge, broken product CDN images, or a blank Instagram feed instead. DIY-first: prove logo source/Files vs CSS vs lazy-load vs Markets → repair → retest. Distinct from trust badge not showing and CDN images broken. Soft-link Instagram feed blank when the IG feed is empty. Soft-link lazy-load hiding above-fold when lazy-load hides the logo strip. No earnings claims, no invented case studies.

Press logos not loading — not trust badge, not CDN product images.
Several “logo / badge / social image” bugs look alike. They do not share a fix. This page is only when a press / as-seen-in / logo bar mounts but logos stay blank or broken. Security seal / payment-icon slot blank is shopify-trust-badge-not-showing. Theme / product CDN images 404 is shopify-cdn-images-broken.
Soft-check shopify-instagram-feed-blank when the Instagram-token IG feed is empty, and soft-link shopify-lazy-load-hiding-above-fold when lazy-load hides the logo strip above the fold — not when the press bar chrome is visible and the press logos simply will not paint.
02
Prove logo source/Files vs CSS vs lazy-load vs Markets.
On Current theme (not a draft), open the press / as-seen-in / logo bar page or homepage section in incognito. Confirm section chrome mounts. Soft-check emptied Files / metafield / logo image URLs. Soft-check CSS filter / opacity / height:0 / overflow:hidden collapse. Soft-check lazy-load never firing. Soft-check Markets / locale filtering logos out. Soft-check App embeds toggle and theme app block enabled on Current. Soft-check CDN 404s on logo assets. Soft-check duplicate logo-bar apps fighting.
Capture: page URL + section/block name, blank-logo screenshot on desktop and phone, Files / metafield / logo URL screenshots, computed filter/opacity/height styles, Network 404s on logo assets, Markets visibility, App embeds toggle state, and duplicate logo-bar embeds on Current.
03
Repair logo source / CSS / lazy-load / Markets; retest logo bar.
Restore Files / metafield / logo URLs so each logo has a valid image. Fix CSS filter / opacity / height / overflow so logos can paint. Soft-check lazy-load. Soft-check Markets / locale visibility. Enable App embeds + theme app block on Current if the bar is an app. Clear CDN 404s on logo assets. Disable duplicate logo-bar apps one at a time. Publish Current, hard-refresh desktop and phone.
Honest retest: press logos fill the bar — not an empty white strip, not only one viewport broken. Soft-link shopify-trust-badge-not-showing when the seal / payment-icon slot is blank. Soft-link shopify-cdn-images-broken when product / theme CDN images 404. Soft-link shopify-instagram-feed-blank when the IG feed is empty.
04
You tested trust badge, CDN product images, or IG feed instead.
Security seal / payment-icon slot blank is shopify-trust-badge-not-showing. Theme / product CDN images 404 is shopify-cdn-images-broken. Instagram-token IG feed empty is shopify-instagram-feed-blank. Lazy-load hiding above-fold is shopify-lazy-load-hiding-above-fold.
The only honest test for this page: a press / as-seen-in / logo bar mounts, but logos stay blank or broken — while trust badge / product CDN / IG feed paths may still work.

When to stay DIY vs pay $997.
Stay DIY if you can spend one afternoon on the list above: prove logo source/Files vs CSS vs lazy-load vs Markets, soft-check apps, repair, retest. That is the whole playbook. No agency required. Short answers also live on the merchant FAQ. Related pages: trust badge not showing, CDN images broken, Instagram feed blank.
Pay for help when the work is not the blank press logos themselves — it is connecting the stack you already have so storefront / theme / press-logo exception alerts land in a channel you already check, and the live store is one workflow instead of a spreadsheet plus a Slack bot you forgot. That is the Latch AI Ops install.
What $997 USD one-time buys: lead capture on the live store, ops alerts in a channel you already check, and a checkout-ready workflow. 72 hours after collaborator access, not after payment. One live Shopify store. Access plus a delivery thread. Store URL collected at checkout. Not a SaaS seat, not a theme rebuild retainer, not a conversion guarantee, not a brand or theme job.
Other shops' public ranges, not testimonials: a checkout / ops install typically runs $500–$2,500. A full ops consulting block typically runs $2,000–$5,000. $997 is the cheap end of that work, sold as a 72-hour install of three systems — not as an earnings number or conversion-lift claim.
What it does not buy: more orders, recovered revenue, a forever press-logo guarantee, or a case study. Latch AI Ops has not published customer proof because there are no customers yet. You are buying the install.
Checkout is on Whop. Operator is Nico. United States offer. You can revoke collaborator access after handoff. We do not take owner passwords.
